Appearance: Keitaro is part of a clan of human-animal hybrids called the Raekin. His whole
body is covered with kurt, blonde fur, besides his fringe with grows longer than usual. Kei has dark brown eyes, and short,
cat-like ears. His hands are 5-fingered like humans, besides the clawed thumb. However, his feet are very large, and have
three clawed toes and a vestigial clawless 'thumb'.
Keitaro usually wears large baggy pants, and a lightweight torso
armour with shoulder protectors. His waist (starting from under his pecs) is covered with a light chainmail, and he sported
a spiked belt. Because of his large feet, he rarely wears shoes unless they are specially made for him.
Brief
History: Keitaro is the son of the shaman of his tribe, a race of warriors that bred their children for war against
the humans who held great prejudice against the 'mutants'. They soon over came their fear of men, but to this day Raekins
usually come out of the year with the strongest armour of all the country. For many battles, The shaman usually blessed the
soldiers with special magic, but he often dealt with the black market, and knew powerful, dark magic. Keitaro was playing
in his father's tent when a group of men came in, asking the scared women looking after Kei where the dark shaman was. It
seemed that he had been attacking the human village out of old spite, and they had come for pay back.
Amidst the attacks,
Keitaro was doused in a dark, strange-smelling liquid from one of his father's bottles on the shelf, and as he saw the man
start to beat his father, a rage consumed him, and his whole world went black. When the darkness faded him, everyone was silent,
the women lay lifeless with wide eyes in the glinting moonlight, and Kei struggled to awake them. He raced out, and found
the whole village was quiet, and nothing came to him but dead looks. The darkness he had released has suffocated them all,
they all died with a look of terror on their faces.
Abilities: Basic energy attacks using Dark and
Ki energy. Kei has the ability to produce darkness out of nowhere, and enshroud an opponent's vision with pure darkness, so
that he can see nothing. Kei's powers of shadow also allow him to invoke terrifying fears in his enemies, so that they are
left as nothing more than a quivering blob on the floor.
Blackout - This is the ability
that Kei unwilling used to kill his entire village. A single thought can spread darkness everywhere. Anyone within rage in
suddenly blinded, as is Keitaro when this is happening. The darkness is so thick and terrifying that anyone consumed immediately
faints, and those with weaker hearts die from the extreme pressure or just of fright.
Warp Shadow
- Kei throws a dark mask upon the opponents head, covering eyes, ears and nose, leaving only the mouth exposed. The
mask acts and a virtual reality helmet, and Kei can send images into the mask (IE, the body being cut into, guts being torn
out, skin rotting away, ect), which are imitated through sound, sight and smell. eg: when Kei sends images of the opponent
having their arms and legs ripped off, they will see and hear their arms and legs being ripped off right in front of their
eyes. During this fear-induced fantasy, Kei is able to attack the opponent without being seen, and all pain inflicted upon
the opponent is transferred by the mask into the pain of any mutilations that are seen to be happening.
Weaponry:
Keitaro wields a modified scythe, with a very large, double-sided blade.
Personality: Keitaro
is very shy, and believes strongly in chivalry, and he finds it very hard to hit a lady, or anyone who hasn't deserved it.
This is his main weakness as a fighter. He is physically strong, but his soul can be very weak, though he stands up strongly
for anything he believes in.
